Located in the historic heart of Las Salesas, Aesop's new store fuses Madrid's rich artistic heritage with the majesty of the Palacio de Longoria. The façade, evocative of the area's timeless architecture, harmoniously complements the district's characteristic charm.
Inspired by Spanish Modernism, the interiors are distinguished by the “Trencadís” technique, famous for its innovative use of ceramics and evocative of another era. This mosaic becomes a visual protagonist, adorning the floor, checkouts and display areas of the store.
Crossing the doorstep, visitors are greeted by a light and shadow play, achieved through the use of “Cathedral” glass and its hammered finish. Elegant freestanding sinks with Spanish Wild Granite countertops and glass and Walnut wood bases enhance the store's luminosity, creating a sense of lightness.
The transparent portico occupies the back of the stage, as a unique architectural element that provides a glimpse of the activities in the front and back of the space. The walls, clad in a fine-grained clay plaster, and the back section, veneered in wood, promote an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.
